Novec® 1230 Fire Suppression Systems, Disposable

Highly effective, clean, green and safe all describe these systems which utilize 3M’s Novec® 1230 fire suppression agent. The extremely low toxicity of Novec™ 1230, combined with its high extinguishing efficiency makes these systems safe for vessels where crew may be exposed to the agent in the event of a discharge. Extremely clean, Novec® 1230 vaporizes rapidly, is non-conductive and non-corrosive, so delicate electronics are not harmed. Extremely “green”, Novec® 1230 poses zero ozone depletion potential and almost no global warming potential. Systems are designed for automatic operation. Manual activation requires selection of a Manual Release Cable, sold separately.
